as long after one o’clock in
the afternoon as it was before
one o’clock in the morning.
What time is it right now?

Answer : The answer is 9PM or 21:00. Since there are 12 hours between 1 PM and 1 AM. This means for the halfway there are 6 hours + 1PM which is 7PM. Now this is 2 hours behind the current time. That would add 2 more hours to 7 PM i.e. 9PM is the answer.
