How many were going to St. Ives?
Now the Answer :
Answer : Just One. He met one men not the wives & cats & sacks who is going to St. Ives. He was talking about them doesnt actually mean that they were travelling.

Surely he might have been travelling there too, so I and he could make 2 people? ‘I met’ doesn’t give clear enough explanation, I’ve always thought the riddle was meant to stay a riddle. How long is a piece of string, and all that.
